The name comes from the term "tied house" which originated in the UK, where pubs were often owned or rented by breweries and in that sense “tied” the brewery and pub together. With this concept, Rapids Brewing Co. is bringing that idea to life right here in Grand Rapids!

The Tied will be a place to pull up a stool and soak in the laid back feeling of a good ol’ dive bar, while still being able to enjoy RBC’s craft brews, domestic favorites, cocktails, and more. The Tied will feature all of the classic elements of a small-town bar that the RBC Taproom doesn’t offer.
